This spectaulcar view of Mt. Fuji was taken from the Obochi Sasaba tea farms outside of Fuji City. The ring of clouds around the summit. The different shades of brown can be clearly seen below the snowcap. The entire scene is illuminated by the late afternoon sun. I had always thought the coloring in classic wood block prints was an artist rendition until I saw this view for myself. This is one of my most favorite images!
