The process of making and dedicating a new Buddha statue is illustrated through imagery by PhotoMann. Wat Si Ping Muang in Chiang Mai was making a new Buddha statue when PhotoMann and family was visiting family in Chiang Mai. The entire process of melting the metal, pouring the Buddha statue mold, removing it from the mold, revealing the final statue and the accompanying ceremony were all done the same day.
